Introduction to Wedding Flowers (1 Day)

Our 'Introduction to Wedding Flowers' day class is a practical experience day for those looking to specifically to step into the world of wedding Floristry. You will spend the day learning key florist techniques specific to creating wedding flower pieces. This is a jam packed day starting with a tour of our facilities so you can really experience how we work. 

Part of the morning will be spent on preparing the flowers with learning about how and why we condition our flowers. You'll make two arrangements during the day to take home these include a beautiful wedding bouquet and a low table arrangement. Each arrangement will be demonstrated first with group support and 1:1 guidance provided.

You'll also look at the art of wiring by creating wired buttonholes along with looking at the latest trends in wedding Floristry. We'll then round the day up with taking photographs of your creations to start your portfolio off!

What to bring:- We provide all the materials required for your session. Please wear casual clothing in layers as the room can vary in temperature. Stools are provided at each workbench but you may wish to stand so a sturdy, comfortable pair of shoes is essential.

Along the way we recommend taking notes, although we do have some notes provided for you to take away with you.

Refreshments:- we have a range of teas, ample coffee and fresh juice. We always provide a range of snacks including Gluten Free. If you have any allergies or specific dietary requirements please contact us to discuss further. 

You'll also have exclusive access to our shop whilst onsite should you wish to purchase any Floristry items, gift-ware or vouchers.
