Introduction to Garden Design Class

Ever wondered just what to do with the space in your garden? Now  is the ideal time to start making plans ready for planting in Spring.

This class is ideal for learning the basic theory behind garden design and how to apply it to your own space. Within this session we'll look at the design of a small garden and work through how the key design principles have been met.

We'll cover an introduction to 7 key principles all equally important when producing a design. Its also a chance to ask questions around how to design your own garden space.

The class will be part theory with a presentation along with some practical drawing time. Within the session we'll also cover soil analysis and plant identification.
The class is delivered in a gorgeous barn  set within Haverholme Park. There is ample car parking available on site and exclusive access to our shop. Light refreshments are provided during the class.

Practical skills and knowledge are delivered by Tina (the garden florist). Tina is a professional florist and experienced lecturer within Horticulture, Garden Design and Floristry. Please read our 'About Us' for more information.
