Floristry Classes

Looking to become confident in Floristry? Join our regular practical Floristry Classes working with seasonal flowers, developing your own natural flair with flowers!

Our Floristry classes aim to promote the understanding of the Floristry industry along with developing your knowledge and skills whilst working with seasonal flowers and foliage.

Our aim is to inspire you and support you in becoming both competent and confident in creating your own Floral designs for either your home or to maybe step into the industry yourself?

Your learning will include:

• how to identify plants and flowers
• the conditioning and care of materials
• design principles along with knowledge of the mechanics
• developments and trends within the industry

These classes are ideal for a complete beginner or for those with flower arranging experience who wish to build on their skills and knowledge with an expert tutor. Each session will begin with a ‘step by step’ demonstration, followed by a supported practical session for you to create your own ’interpretation’ of the design. Each design is planned to ensure skills and knowledge are developed over the year to a professional standard!
